Our meetings are now being held on the FIRST MONDAY of the month at Kosta’s Kitchen in Fletcher. Our next meeting is on March 5th at 7:00 p.m. Please come earlier if you plan to eat.
Our meeting this month had another good turn out, 29 members in attendance. We have one new member…Margaret Robertson, welcome to our club.
We had our yearly meeting to plan future car show dates, and attached is a copy of those dates.
Our picnic is tentatively scheduled for June 3rd; Carolyn Richardson is looking into having it at the same place as last year. The V A Show is also tentatively scheduled for on or around September 22.
We have a Poker Run scheduled for April 28th, put together by Jim Graves, starting at the Etowah Market Place (next to Etowah Post Office) starting at 9:30 A.M. Come earlier if you want to socialize with a cup of coffee and a bagel. If you can help, please call Jim at 890-3581 Volunteers needed.
Jodi Mihalik worked very hard on putting together our club store on the internet. There are pictures of the items for sale with amounts and a copy of the order form. Attached are copies of these. The pictures are on one side and the order form on the other. This is for our members who do not have the internet and who are not at the meetings.
Bette Mihalik won the $5.00 bill and donated it back to the club. Jim Graves won the 50/50 and he generously donated it back to the club. Thank You Jim.
We also had a guest speaker, Walter Hutton, who is working with Fletcher Park and would like us to help him with his charity, Duncan-Iles Foundation, Inc. We are looking into the rules and regulations of Fletcher Park and more will follow next month.
